First Joining the ceramics class, I was the worst in the class you can count on that. My name is Connor Lind and ceramics has changed me as a person. considering how awful I am at drawing and painting, I'm quite astonished with me being able to even mold clay . I don't take ceramics for the art credit, I take it because you learn to create something yourself with your own hands you can take home be truly be proud of. I wasn't born being good on the wheel, I worked for it and every time I sit down on the wheel, I challenge myself and push my limits as an artist. If you want to get better at ceramics and you want to be able to make anything you can imagine, there are three basic rules. Following these three rules are what lead me to where I am now and they are, saying goodbye, constant daily practice, and patience. Without any of these you're going to have a rough time in ceramics, and I myself learned that the hard way through my first two semesters of hell . I've loved ceramics for almost two years now and if I could, I would never leave that room and make art until the day I die.
